Julia ist eine der beiden Chefredakteurinnen des MPI TalkLing-Blogs (Chefredakteurin Planung). Sie arbeitet am Max-Planck-Institut für Psycholinguistik als Communications Officer. Sie hat einen BA und MA in Niederländischer Sprache und Kommunikations- und Informationswissenschaften. Die Arbeit für MPI TalkLing verbindet ihre Liebe zu Sprache und Kommunikation. Für den Blog übernimmt sie die interne Planung und Promotion, z.B. Social Media und Website.
In ihrer Freizeit spielt Julia Ukulele und geht mit Hunden spazieren. Einen Großstadtdschungel schafft sie in ihrem Büro, indem sie Zimmerpflanzen in Marmeladengläsern vermehrt.
